Msgt. Henry Paul Guillory, Ret. Army

Funeral Services for Msgt. Henry Paul Guillory will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2014 in the chapel of John Kramer & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Craig Scott officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.

Msgt. Henry Paul Guillory, 93, of Alexandria passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2014, in his residence.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Laura Marshall Guillory; two brothers: Lonis Guillory and Marvin Guillory; two sisters: Ethelee Guillory Heath and Josephine Guillory.

Henry was a lifelong resident of Alexandria. He dedicated and served 24 years in the military. Henry is a veteran of WWII, Korea and Vietnam.

He is survived by his brother-in-law, Joseph Heath, four nieces, two nephews and several great, great-great and great-great-great nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Mr. Randy Pugh for the many years he has not only been Mr. Henry's neighbor, but also for looking out for him and taking care of him.

The family would like to express special thanks to Mr. Henry's sitters: Vincent Forch and Maurice Slaughter; along with the care givers from St. Joseph Hospice and STAT Home Health.

I remember when I was a little girl and how excited I would be when I was told Uncle Henry was coming home on leave from the Army.
Those and the years following will be cherished forever. I am so proud of the
years you spent defending this country to protect us. I will remember always and keep you in my heart. I love you.
