Richard Dauzat Obituary
Funeral services for Mr. Richard Joseph Dauzat will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Fifth Ward. Interment will be at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery #3 in Fifth Ward. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.
Mr. Dauzat, age 68 of Fifth Ward, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria.
He is survived by companion Dora Bryant of Fifth Ward; two sons, Greg Dauzat of Fifth Ward, Reggie Dauzat of Pineville; one daughter, Lana Smith of Pineville; one brother, Gene Dauzat of Marksville; three sisters, Doris Neck of Marksville, Mary Ann Vead of Marksville, Christine Dauzat of Fifth Ward and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 2, 2011 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and will resume on Thursday at 8:00 a.m. until shortly before funeral service time.
A Christian Wake Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday evening.
