I'm so sorry to hear about Bro. Hearne's passing...it wasn't long ago I saw him playing his clarinet. He spent his life doing the Lord's work, so I know he's with Jesus. I will definitely miss him.

You have my deepest sympathies Sister Patsy and family.Even though I met you and Pastor Hearne a little over 3 years ago, you both impacted my life with your love and caring. When I wanted to join Pineville First Assembly of God, the church I had gone to would not send a letter acknowledging the transfer. Pastor Hearne took care of getting my membership confirmed. He always had time to sit and listen when I needed to talk or ask advice. His reply was always an encouraging word through scripture. My favorite is Isaiah 43:1-3. Also, when I expressed concern for my sons attending church with me, you both told me,"It doesn't matter where they go to church, as long as they belong to God's Kingdom." I thank God for bringing you into my life. I will continue to pray for all of you. May God truly grant you peace, comfort, and strength. I love you.

We all know he is rejoicing in Heaven and walking on streets of gold. You both opened your hearts, home and church to me and was always there for me. Love you so much.

My heart hurts after hearing this loss. Rev Hearne has been a man that I have deeply loved and respected most of my life. Everytime I have seen him, I feel a sense if encencouragement. I know in my heart that when he meets his judgement, the response will be,"Well done, my loyal and faithful child." My heart goes with Mrs. Hearne, Monica, Scott, and James. I love you all, and my prayers are with you.

Dear Lord,
I remember so many good things about Brother Hearne that I hardly know where to begin or end. The beginning was long ago and the end will never come for I know I will see him again in Your kingdom! I look forward to hearing him sing again and seeing him smile. One memory that will never fade is how good he made me feel. He had a knack for that. He was an outstanding example of Your love for us! He made everyone feel good by being around him. His joy was infectious. I remember Scott, James, and I laughing with him until our sides would hurt. How many people can say that about their dad? The love he had for his family and friends was as evident as his love for his Lord! Matthew 5:16, "Let your light so shine that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." My brother in Christ, and my other dad when I needed one is a loss to the many that knew him. However, the loss is greater to those that never had the priviledge to meet him for I know he changed lives! Thank you God for the blessings I received through Reverend Hearne and his family. May the example he showed of Your love remain steadfast in my mind that I might also be a light unto the world.
Amen

Mom, Scott, Jamie, and Monica:
Your husband and father was a great man and great is his reward. Even though it has been a while since we've all been together, I have never forgotten the times we all shared. You will always be family to me and I am incredibly sorry for your loss.

With deepest sympathy and regard,
Lattie W Sale

I have a great memory of Bro. Hearne just having fun! At one time, the ladies group had a fun 1950's night. Someone talked him into playing "Great Balls of Fire" on the piano. He got into character by wearing white shoes.

Dear Sis Hearne and Family,
Where do I begin...that would be in 1970's! From the moment ya'll began Pastoring our church the love was there! Your Faithfulness and Heartfelt concern for anybody in need always comes to my mind! I also appreciated your love for people without judgement!
I'm so thankful my Mother taught us the value of "Making Memories" (as she would say), because we have many, many great ones with The Hearne Family! From ya'll helping me through some difficult times in my life, to babysitting my children, to dedicating my Grandchildren, to officiating the marriages of my children, to family pig roasts, to Christmas time and Bro Hearnes Christmas jingles! The list could go on and on! Bro Hearne was highly respected and Loved dearly. He will be missed beyond words could ever express!

Our prayers are with you at this time. Robert Hearne was one of the finest men our family ever knew. He was an outstanding preacher and fabulous pastor, but most of all he was just a great human being. Bro. Hearne was a great example of a child of God. Thanks to his family for sharing this great man with the rest of us. He was our pastor for awhile and a friend for always.

Love and prayers,
