Funeral services for Sandra Kay Byrd Perry will be held at 4 p.m., Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Christ Church with Reverend Greg Willis officiating. Committal service will follow in the Cryer Cemetery under the direction of White Oaks Funeral Home, Oakdale.

Sandra, 66, of Oakdale, entered eternal rest on Friday, May 13, 2016 in her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born June 29, 1949 in Oakdale to the union of Milton Marshall Byrd and Joan Hearn Byrd. She worked in the medical field as a phlebotomist for many years. Sandra was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents, Martin Jeff & Ardis Thigpen Byrd and Frank Edwin & Alice Marie Forrest Hearn.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are: four sons, Brent Edward Carney of Whitesboro, Texas, Breck Duane Cart and Julius Blaine Cart both of Houston, Texas and Jared Keith Perry of Tyler, Texas; three brothers, Frank (Kathi) Byrd, Kenneth (Theresa) Byrd, and Kevin Byrd all of Oakdale; three sisters, Gwen (Dennis) Frazier of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Marsha Guinn and Cheryl (Phillip) Karam both of Oakdale; three grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers to serve will be Jeffery Byrd, Dylan Byrd, Jonathan Doyle, Michael Doyle, Brian Guinn, Frank Byrd, Jr., Phillip Karam, Jr., and Jared Perry.

Visitation will be held at White Oaks Memorial Chapel on Saturday, May 14, 2016 from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m., then on Sunday, May 15, 2016 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., then leaving at 2:30 p.m. to go to Christ Church for funeral service at 4 p.m.
