Eden Monroe Obituary

Eden Monroe

May 17, 1960 – December 1, 2024

Eden was born in Sacramento and moved to Grass Valley at age 7. Eden loved horses and dogs, especially Chinese pugs. Growing up, she had a paper route for The Union on horseback with her favorite horse, Duke. After graduating high school, Eden worked at the Grass Valley Group and then her love of skiing called her to Northstar-at-Tahoe in Truckee. She then worked for 18 years at Tahoe Forest Hospital where she finished her career. Eden loved helping people and was passionate about going to yard sales with her son and friends.

Eden is proceeded in death by her parents Charles L Monroe and Sandy J Monroe. She is survived by her son Gabriel Cooper and siblings Val Monroe, Dane Monroe, Shawn Monroe, Erin Monroe Sparhawk, Troy Monroe, and Jenifer Monroe Pool.

I'm so very sorry to hear this sad news. I remember Eden growing up. I believe she had a VW Bug (I may be wrong), and she drove us around. I have fond memories of going to the fair with her as well. Rest in peace sweet lady. ~~
