Had the pleasure of meeting George in the hospital and talking about memories he had of my dad( Robert Kochis) and my memories of his mom Evelyn! He told me " I loved your dad and still do" so I told my dad who is 94 - it really made him smile

This Legacy.com site post of George´s obituary will be much easier to read.
There is not a day goes by I haven´t thought of George. Honestly. When I was in 6th grade, I injured the middle finger of my left hand playing tether ball with another kid. I don´t remember who it was. Anyway, I smashed my middle finger straight into the ball and it dislocated the first knuckle.
There was no nurse present that day, so Midge Scotten, who was the school secretary, sent me to the principal´s office. The principal was George Bryant. He did the best he could to secure a splint on my finger, but the knuckle was never reset. He was so kind and gentle as he put the splint and bandage on my finger.
To this day, that finger still has a bump at the first knuckle. So, everyday, and sometimes several times a day, I think of George Bryant. A very kind person. May he rest in peace now.
