Jerry sold Cindy and I our first home. I talked him into playing slow pitch. We played together for at least 10 years. What a great man. He will be truly missed by those who knew him. Save that pitcher position for me up in the clouds.

I had the honor of treating Jerry for his neck and back pain, that was frequently acute during the last few years of his life. Although he suffered a lot, he was always cheerful and courageous. I will miss him.

Hi Irene just found out you guys at Jerry's Old hiring U-Haul sorry for your loss. Oh Jerry was such a great guy and had such a great woman, I remember him at Matt's football games rooting him on with all his heart. I also remember, helping Dave get your citizens pizza parlor going. I remember helping him take it out of the national hotel because they were selling the ceiling, weird, but what a beautiful place the national is and also with citizens turned out to be as a restaurant, and the sweet guys are now owning and running the business tire store and repair etc. Lots of love will see you at the memorial.

His Dad was brother to my mom Lillie Jane (Hall) Harrison. I remember his Mom, Dad and him visiting our home when we were growing up and we would play together with many of our other cousins. Was looking forward to their being able to possibly attend our cousins reunion this year in April here in Alabama. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and family. Jerry was a real inspiration to me and one of my cancer buddies. In seeing his strength, it's given me more hope for a long bright future. I always appreciated talking with Jerry and working for him as well. A kind and generous guy. Much love to your family in your time of loss.

Jerry was such a wonderful person. Besides his gifts of design and woodworking, he had a beautiful gift of working with people, bringing them together.

I treasure my memories of working with him on the UUCM pulpit project and still have the turned wood pieces he gave me as mementos. Though we hadn't seen each other in many years, I thought of him often. He will be missed.
