Lillis Sherrin Obituary

LILLIS SHERRIN

April 20, 1932 to June 30, 2024

Lillis Sherrin passed away peacefully after many years of declining health. She was 92. Born to parents Fredrick and Frances Engelhardt of Burlingame California. She was an only child.

Lillis was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Victor Sherrin.

Lillis and Vic had three children, Michael Sherrin who passed away September 29, 2012 of ALS and two surviving daughters, Judith Cramer and Jeanette Phillips.

There are 10 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren.

Lillis worked tirelessly for over 50 years rescuing and releasing injured and orphaned wildlife in the Sierra foothills. This was her passion, and she never turned any away, even the skunks, bats and the scruffy snarling ones! Her hobbies include arts and crafts, antiquing and gardening.

She had a great sense of humor and was loved by all. She will be greatly missed.

There will be a Private Family Memorial

at a later date.
