Paul Corbin Obituary

Paul Corbin

January 16, 1954 – July 16, 2025

Paul Corbin was born in Carmel, CA in 1954 and passed away on July 16, 2025. He spent his early childhood in Kamakura, Japan before relocating to Oxnard, CA.

As a young adult, he moved to Nevada County where he fell in love, got married and had 3 boys.

A skilled house painter and musician, Paul was known for painting many of the homes and buildings in Nevada County and often played his electric violin on the rooftop once completed.

His creativity, sense of humor, and steadfast faith in Jesus will be remembered by all who knew him.

He is survived by his 3 sons, Chad, Matt and Chris.

It was always a highlight when my kids spotted his multi-color truck that the paint had been slung on. I let my kids do that to a cabin on our property. And the violin concerts on top of the firehouse in Nevada City were the best. Such great memories a very sad loss RIP Paul.

My best friend for many years... we used to have two hour lunches a couple times a week... back in the mid to late 70s Never ran out of anything to talk about. He was addressed as Corbinski and I was Hertzcof. It was our personal joke.
His family was a great comfort to me when I was going through a nasty divorce in 76... got to play music together for half a dozen years in the Immanual Band, and the bond just grew... looking forward to seeing you again one fine `everlasting´ day
