Wendy Wright Obituary
June 8, 1961 to November 5, 2023
Wendy passed away peacefully in her home in Grass Valley where she lived for 20 years. Wendy was 62.
Wendy is survived by her sister, Suzie Kost, her husband, nephew, and his three children, as well as many loyal friends. Wendy was predeceased by her partner Mark Lando, her father Alvin Wright, and her mother Miriam Wright.
Wendy was adopted and raised by two incredible people she was blessed to call mom and dad. In 1979 Wendy graduated from San Carlos High School in San Carlos, CA. She became a certified nurse assistant, then a nanny for several families in Menlo Park, CA. Wendy loved the nightlife and started working for the Keystone Palo Alto where she became the night manager and assisted the club owner, until they closed. She continued working at the San Francisco location
until its demise in 1993. Wendy was in an apartment fire while living in Redwood City, CA in 2003 and relocated to Grass Valley, CA to be near family.
Wendy had a way with children and loved teaching them and doing art projects together. She was full of courage and loved doing beadwork and made beautiful jewelry. Wendy was a big SF Giants fan and loved watching baseball and enjoyed comedy.

I remember you dearly, that brave smile, though it´s been years since I last seen you at the laundromat, I recognized that smile of yours instantly.. I´m grateful ur no longer in pain hon.. I´ll see you again someday

every time i get giants news i think of calling wendy. and, cher was on tv last week and just things that make me want to call her.
