He taught me tech drawing at Mendel when I was a freshman, I was horrible at first even though I was getting straight A's in all my other classes. When he saw my other grades he realized I was not a moron, just sloppy. He worked with me until I gradually improved. I really appreciated his patience, his humor, his kindness and willingness to see my potential. RIP

My deepest sympathy Grace at the loss of your husband. I lived with Ed in the early 60s at St. Rita Monastery. He was always a delightful and gentle soul . Some years ago, our whole Province was on retreat in a suburb of Chicago. I remember Ed coming to see us. It was great to visit with him. When I knew him the 60s, I knew him as Pete. I have no idea where that came from. Eternal rest grant unto him oh Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace amen.

Our Heavenly Father has given us a life span of 70-80 years if we are especially strong. May you celebrate a life well lived and loved by many. May the words of Psalm 90:10,14 bring comfort to the family.
