When he saw my other grades he realized I was not a moron, just sloppy. He worked with me until I gradually improved. My deepest sympathy Grace at the loss of your husband. I lived with Ed in the early 60s at St. Rita Monastery. He was always a delightful and gentle soul . Some years ago, our whole Province was on retreat in a suburb of Chicago. I remember Ed coming to see us. It was great to visit with him. When I knew him the 60s, I knew him as Pete.
