Derek Langston Obituary
He worked as a Truck Driver. He was a lifelong resident of this area and was a member at Mt. Elon Baptist Church.
He is survived by his girlfriend of 20 years, Anna Lewis, his parents: Clarence and Sarah Langston; daughter: Ginger Brooke; Anna's children: Casey and Justin Miller; brother: Clarence Walton Langston, Jr. and many other loving family and friends.
He is predeceased by his brother Wesley Lane Langston.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made the National Kidney Foundation of Florida, 1040 Woodcock Road, Suite 119, Orlando, FL 32803 or the American Diabetes Association, 1330 Miccosukee Road, Tallahassee, FL 32308.
Visitation was held Sunday, April 9, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Bevis Funeral Home, Harvey-Young Chapel in Crawfordville, FL.

I have nothing but great memories of the times I spent with Derek, he was a great person with a big heart. My heart goes out to all of his family.
