Renee Carraway Spears

1959 - 2021

Renee Carraway Spears, 62, of Crawfordville, passed away on Dec. 4, 2021.
Renee loved the outdoors and enjoyed vacations at the beach and the mountains. She also loved to go on cruises, gardening, and online shopping. Most of all she loved to spend time with the ones she loved. She worked for Wakulla LP Gas for 36 years where she always greeted customers with her warm smile. She just retired six months ago. Renee was a woman of strong faith in The Lord. She was a sweet, caring, loving and selfless person who loved to laugh. Renee had a huge giving heart, full of compassion for others. If someone was in need, she would lend a helping hand with no hesitation. Renee was an amazing moma, Nae Nae, friend, and a joy to everyone she encountered. She was a beautiful soul, inside and out, who had a great impact on many people's lives. She will be greatly missed by many and never forgotten. We know she is at peace and in the presence of the Lord.
Renee was predeceased by her parents, Harvey and Joy Carraway; and her sister, Rose Carraway. 
Survivors include her daughter, Amy Spears Rosier; son, Josh Ouzts; her life partner, Jim Snyder; granddaughter, Courtney Mitchell (Nae Nae's angel-girl);  grandsons, Keith White, and  Gauge, Hunter, and Rylen Ouzts; sisters, Rhonda Hicks (Rick), Rita Hebert (Rob); brother, Ricky Carraway (Amy); her best friend, Gordon Gerrell and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
