Freeman Ashmore Obituary
He was born in Gainesville, raised in Tallahassee with his family. He married and had three children. He worked 30 years at FSU as a computer programmer. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying his love for the great outdoors – spending time at his beloved riverhouse hunting and fishing. The family will always cherish his gift of story telling.
He is survived by his children, April Winchester, Jeremy Ashmore, Tom Conley; his four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; his brother Michael Ashmore, along with his beloved dog, Sugar Bear.
He was predeceased by his parents, Freeman and Marybelle, his siblings Pamela and Byrne; his first wife Patricia and second wife Carol.
Services will be held at Culley's Funeral Home at 1737 Riggins Road in Tallahassee on Wednesday Jan. 21st. Visitation is 1 to 2 p.m., funeral begins at 2 p.m, graveside at Roselawn Cemetery, 843 Piedmont Drive in Tallahassee.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee FL 32308.
