Angella Louise Larson

1943 - 2022

Angella Louise (Parisi) Larson, 78, passed away on Sunday January 30, 2022 with her loving family by her side. Born on February 23, 1943 in Westerly, she was the loving wife of Roy E. Larson for 57 years.
Angella was a graduate of the Immaculate Conception School and the class of 1961 at Westerly High School. A dedicated employee, she worked for many years for Warner Brothers, Imperial Wallpaper Company and Analysis and Technology (A&T).
When Angella was not working she was giving back to her community, a member of the WHS Booster's Club, she was instrumental in the building of the concession stand at Westerly High School. Angella volunteered and taught catechism for 23 `years at Immaculate and was a member/treasurer of the Ladies Calabrese Auxiliary Club and a member of the Westerly Yacht Club.
It is no wonder Angella's favorite color is red, her love of her family and friends, Calabria heritage and traditions along with her unwavering faith was what she was most proud of. If Angella was not teaching a younger generation about the Feast of the Seven Fish it was the making of her famous Ravioli or Soupy. Angella looked forward to sharing these traditions with her family and the friends that became family through the years.
Besides her beloved husband, she leaves behind her children Ebba (Larson) Pellegrino and Paul Larson. Her grandchildren Anthony and his wife Deanna Larson and Ebba Ann Pellegrino and her great grandchildren Dominic and Derek Larson. Angella was predeceased by her parents Paul and Josephine (Gencarella) Parisi, her siblings Paula and Paul Parisi and her grandson Nikolaus Pellegrino.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 10 am at Immaculate Conception Church. Burial service for Angella will be immediately following at Saint Sebastian's Cemetery on Cobblestone Lane.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
