I am so sorry to hear this. Doug was a good friend and the most amazing person. He was an individual to be sure. He had the best and sometimes most annoying sense of humor and the biggest heart in the world. He faced adversity with a smile and courage. I´m sad that I only saw him a handful of times since we graduated high school a hundred years ago. The world was a better place with Doug in it. Condolences to Marcel

Doug was one of the sweetest, funniest and best people I have ever known and loved. My husband Doug and I are deeply saddened by this news. We spent a lot of time with Doug from high school years to living in New York when we all resided there in the eighties. He was a treasure. May he rest in peace. He will always be loved and remembered.
