Elizabeth Bowman Obituary
Born in Springfield, Mass. on May 21, 1922, she was the beloved daughter of the late P.M. Randall III and Annie S. (Hoxsie) Randall.
Mrs. Bowman had been a buyer in the Children's Department at the former A.M Best Department Stores. She was an active member of the Phebe Greene Ward Chapter of the Rhode Island Daughters of the American Revolution, Dunns Corner Community Church Presbyterian, the Monday Club at Quonnie, and an avid bridge player.
Elizabeth will be sadly missed by her three sons, Barry R. Bowman and Roy N. Bowman Jr., both of Charlestown, R.I., and John M. Bowman, of Alstead, N.H. She was the loving grandmother of five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral service and burial will be private. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckler-Johnston Funeral Home, 121 Main St., Westerly, R.I.

To the Bowman Family,
Sorry for your loss, Elizabeth was a wonderful woman.
I grew up knowing her from Dunn's Corners Church. I also am a Phebe Greene Ward Chapter DAR member, and she was a proud member of our organization.

Dear Barry, Roy and John,
Please know how much I "loved" your Mom. Elizabeth was not only a loyal, devoted and dedicated Phebe Greene Ward Chapter member. Elizabeth was also my mentor, friend and my second "Mom" guiding me through my years as Chapter Regent.
Between your Mom and Dad they worked effortlessly keeping "Phebe" moving forward.
I will always be grateful to Elizabeth and your Dad for all they gave to "Phebe" and RIDAR.
I have such wonderful and beautiful memories of Elizabeth riding in Gloria Russell's model T-Ford in the Columbus Day Parade, Westerly for several years. Elizabeth smiled, ear to ear which was so precious to see as she waved to the people lined up along the route. She was proud of her heritage!
Thank you for sharing your Mom with all the "Phebe Greene Ward Chapter gals". She truly made a difference and "Phebe" is moving forward because of the preservereance of many women just like Elizabeth. Fabulous DNA!!!
