Gladys Hawkins Obituary

Gladys Margaret (Warner) Hawkins, 82, of Exeter, passed away surrounded by the love of her family on Monday, May 31, 2021. Born in Providence, born July 6, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Hiram C. and Patience E. (Miller) Warner.
She enjoyed reading, gardening, birdwatching, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She will be sadly missed by her two children Trudee M. (Hawkins) Carreiro and her husband Michael of Westerly and Andrew J Hawkins and his wife Evelyn of East Providence. Her 5 grandchildren Ashlee, Victoria, Miranda and Michael (Mike-Mike) Carreiro and Bianca Hawkins.
She is survived by her sister Dorothy Carley of West Warwick and her brother Raymond Warner of Exeter.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her name to the American Cancer Society.
A graveside service will be held at 11am on Monday, June 7th, at the Warner Historical Cemetery in West Greenwich.
