John Wells, Jr. Obituary
Jack was born in NYC on Dec. 18, 1978. The family moved to Rhode Island, where Jack graduated from South Kingstown High School. He worked as a chef in many South County restaurants, making life long friends along the way. He was an artist with food both at home and at work. Jack felt music, cherished family and friends, and his pets brought him joy and comfort. He was a forever dreamer of the next idea with a surreal sense of humor and often engaged in light hearted mischief. He was very accepting of others, yet unaccepting of silence. He was sensitive to life and others. He appreciated the simple things and would never turn down an adventure.
Jack is survived by his brother, Hazard H. Wells, his love, Sonya L. Stedman, his aunt Karen "Taffy" Wells, his uncle Richard Odell, and a very large and loving extended family of relatives and friends.
A memorial will be held in honor of Jack's life on Sept. 30, 2017, at St. Augustine's Church & URI Episcopal Center at 1:00 P.M. All are welcome. Burial is to be held privately.

Condolences to Jack's loved ones. Like all of his former classmates and friends, I am so saddened by his passing. Jack treated me with kindness and I know he gave that to everyone else he knew.
