Judith Sylvia Obituary
Born in New London, CT, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Agnes Gley.
Judy worked as a braider for Kellems for many years. She was an avid NY Yankee and NY Giant fan, and also loved the Boston and Providence Bruins. One of her favorite passions was reading and she never missed a Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.
In addition to her husband, she leaves her six children, Theresa Gentile (Gustavo Santos), John Sylvia (Tammie Sutton), Edward F. Sylvia, Jr. and wife Ana, Deborah Sylvia (Mike Collins), Manuel Sylvia and David Sylvia and wife Debbie. Judy is also survived by two sisters, Cathi Corlies and Eva Lowell; sixteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Stephen Sylvia; her grandson Joshua Sylvia; and by her sister Frances Satterlee.
Visiting hours will be held from 5-7pm on Wednesday, Aug. 3 at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. Funeral service and burial will be private. For online condolences please visit www.gaffneydolanfuneralhome.com

Sylvia Family,
Sorry for the loss of your wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will live on in the hearts of her family members as they recall her memory's for years to come. I will away be indebted to you Ed for the paper work you shared with me when I attended the Babson Command School in Boston. Where we are now Judith was. Where Judith is now we shall be.
