Kathryn Lee Lloyd

Kathryn Lee (Miltenberger) Lloyd of Gounod Road, Westerly, passed away on Jan. 4, 2010, at Watch Hill Care and Rehabilitation, Westerly. Born in New York City on Oct. 29, 1923, Lee was the daughter of Kathryn (Slayback) Miltenberger and Eugene F. Miltenberger of Middletown, N.J., and the wife of the late Thomas M. Lloyd.
An avid sailor and tennis player, Lee was also a talented cook and devoted homemaker. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church of Little Silver, N.J., and a member of the Shrewsbury Sailing and Yacht Club in Oceanport, N.J.
She is survived by three children, Thomas M. Lloyd (Harriet) of Westerly, Susan L. Lloyd of Westerly, and J. Christopher Lloyd (Pamela) of Seattle, Wash.; four granddaughters, Morgan L. Hollenbeck and Kearsley A. Lloyd, both of Westerly, Ellery W. and Louisa K. Lloyd, of Seattle; and two great-granddaughters.
A private burial will take place in Middletown, N.J.
