Makyal Thomas Obituary
2024. She was the wife of the late Walter N. Thomas, Jr. who predeceased her in 2021.
Born in Syria, she was the daughter of the late Tomeh and Nayouph Salowm.
Makyal worked as a Machine Operator for the George C. Moore Co. for many years.
She leaves behind her two step-children, Robert E. Thomas of Westerly and Debbie Irwin of
Hope Valley; three step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; and several extended family
members.
Visiting hours are omitted. A Funeral Service will take place at 11am on Monday, January 22,
2024 at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. Burial will follow at River Bend

Makyal was the sweetest lady I´ve ever known when I lived in Westerly. Many great memories of her and Walter.
