Marion Kepping Obituary
Lucille was born in Westerly on July 8, 1924, the daughter of John and Pauline (Grady) Wood.
After graduating from Stonington High School, she met and married her late husband Frederick P. Kepping Sr. of Hazleton, Pa. They were united in marriage at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Pawcatuck, on Aug. 21,1942.
Lucille was a homemaker and enjoyed her family.
Lucille is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Frederick P. Kepping Jr. and Alice "Ann" Kepping of Ashaway; her daughter and companion, Christine Lucille Kepping and Walter "Skip" Heon of Pawcatuck; and her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah Catherine Carr and Sean Carr of Nantucket, Mass.
Lucille is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Terrie Pangilinan, Tammy Kaiser, Janet Mayo, Shawn Larkin, Alan Larkin, Andrew Larkin, Theresa Larkin, Kevin Larkin, Heidi Williams, and Patrick Stevens; and 27 great-grandchildren.
Lucille leaves her brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Helen Wood of Brooklyn, Conn.
Lucille was predeceased by her grandson Mark Q. Larkin.
Funeral liturgy will be celebrated in St. Michael Church, Liberty Street, Pawcatuck, Wednesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Pawcatuck. Visiting hours are omitted.
Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly, is in charge of arrangements.
Donations in lieu of flowers donations can be made to St Michael School, 63 Liberty St., Pawcatuck, CT 06379.
