Mary Landon Obituary
Born in Newport, she was a daughter of the late Crawford H. and Mary Wetherell.
Mary enjoyed gardening, knitting and crocheting. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She will be sadly missed by her son, Howard M. Dillow and his wife Phyllis of Westerly; her daughters, Maggie (Dillow) Ruzzo and her husband, Steven, also of Westerly and Traci (Landon) Hare of Wolcott, CT. Mary is also survived by her two brothers, George Costa and Michael Costa, both of Newport and five sisters, Elizabeth Wetherell and Marielaina Letiecq, both of Middletown, RI, Paula Messina of Fla., Patricia LaRock of Westerly and Maureen Palumbo of W. Warwick, as well as her beloved seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Crawford H. Wetherell and her sister, Phyllis Wetherell.
Visiting hours are omitted. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Mary's Life on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 11am in the Babcock Presbyterian Church, 25 Maxson St., Ashaway. Burial will follow on the church grounds. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 N. Main St., Providence, RI 02904, in Mary's memory.
