Michael Algieri Obituary
Mike was born in Westerly, RI on December 11, 1938 and was the son of the late Joseph and Susan (Celico) Algieri.
Mike was the co-owner of Morrone Electric, Inc. of Westerly. He held licenses as a master electrician, master plumber, master pipe fitter and master refrigeration specialist. He enjoyed working on antique cars and was a member of the Model A Ford Club of America for over twenty-five years. Mike wintered in West Palm Beach where he enjoyed an active social life of bocce, dancing, shuffleboard, bingo, card playing and many other activities.
As a loving father, he will be sadly missed by his daughters Mary-Kay Patten (David) and Lori-Beth Guelcher (John). Mike has four grandchildren Kayla Patten, Jack Patten, Katie Guelcher and Kristen Guelcher. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. He leaves his sister, Joanne (Algieri) Kudej and his devoted companion of four years, Mary Tufts of West Palm Beach, FL.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., on Friday March 11, 2022 at Our Lady of Victory, 169 Main St. Ashaway, RI 02804. Burial will follow in St. Sebastian Cemetery, Westerly, RI. Calling hours will be private.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckler-Johnston Funeral Home, 121 Main St. Westerly, RI. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Victory Church in Ashaway.

Our sincere condolences to Mike and his family. We met both Patsy and Mike at Barkley in West Palm. When we purchased a condo there Mike was there to help us with his many skills in plumbing, electrical, appliances, etc. What an angel he was to us at that time. A good friend and always willing to help. He will always be remembered by both of us. May he rest in peace and we will remember him in our prayers.

Sorry to hear the news about Mike's passing. I was born two days before him so I knew Mike all 83 years. Mike was a great kid and good friend and classmate. To all of Mike's family and friends I send my condolences for the loss of a wonderful guy.

So sorry to learn of the passing of your love one.
Mike and I both shared the same birth date 12-11-1938, we both graduated from WHS IN 1957.
Mike and I met for coffee over the years and both spent our Winter's in Florida. Mike kept very one laughing and will be missed by many who knew him. Rest in peace Mike
