Pamela Langdon Obituary

WESTERLY - Pamela M. Langdon, 68, beloved wife of James G. Langdon, of Stenton Avenue, Westerly, passed away at her home on Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2016.

Born in Hartford, Conn., she was a daughter of the late James and Ruth Nordeng.

Pamela worked for the Robert Jones Insurance Agency as a personal lines rep for many years. An avid dog breeder specializing in Newfoundlands, she was a member of both the Newfoundland Clubs of America and New England. Pamela also enjoyed the beaches of Quonochontaug, R.I.

In addition to her husband, she leaves a son, Matthew G. Langdon, of Charlestown; and daughter, Melanie Langdon-Amerault and her husband, Michael, of East Orleans, Mass. She is also survived by two brothers, Jay Nordeng, of Ashaway, and David Nordeng, of Charlestown; two grandchildren, Helaina Baton-Langdon and Ryan Amerault; and several nieces and nephews. Pamela was predeceased by an older sister, Deanna Nordeng.

Jim and family, so sad to hear of your loss. Blake and I always enjoyed visiting with you and Pam at the farmstand. Thanks for being one of our first and best customers, Pam really made us feel welcome during our first season and beyond in Quonnie. Always enjoyed having a laugh with you guys.
