Patricia D. "Pat" Molloy

Patricia (Pat) D. (Simister) Molloy, 68, wife of the late Christopher J. ""Chris"" Molloy Jr. passed away unexpectedly July 2, 2022. Born in Westerly, RI, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Gaccione) Simister.
Pat devoted her life to being a caretaker to her loving family. She was employed at the Pawcatuck Variety Store for many years. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Westerly Haunted House as a makeup artist and was a lifetime member of the USCG Lightship Sailors Association with her husband Chris. Pat will be remembered fondly as a loving and dear friend to many. Her smiles and hugs lit up a room.
She leaves behind her two daughters, Jennifer Molloy Ristow (Timothy) of Farmington, MN, and Wendy Molloy Nelson (Michael O'Keeffe) of Higganum, CT as well as two cherished grandchildren, Shannon E. Nelson and Alex C. Molloy Ristow. She also leaves behind many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visting hours will be held on Monday, July 11 from 5-7pm at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce Street, Westerly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Tuesday, July 12 at Immaculate Conception Church, 111 High Street, Westerly. There is no procession from the funeral home to church.
