Phyllis I. Rehill

Phyllis I. (White) Vuono Rehill, 92, passed peacefully on September 9, 2023 at the Alpine Nursing Home, Coventry RI where she received loving attention and care following a series of strokes.
Born in Nashua NH to Webster W. White and Lottie Pace. Earned a BA at UNH a MA as a reading specialist from UCONN.
Phyllis is predeceased by her two brothers, Webster and Leonard; husbands, Nicholas A. Vuono of 28 years and James H. Rehill of 10 years. Phyllis was mother to the late Nicholas A. Vuono Jr. and is survived by children, Paula J. Vuono Martasian and Bradford J. Vuono; grandchildren, Andrew M. Martasian, Samantha A. Martasian, Nicholas Vuono, Francesca Vuono; and great-grandchildren, Willow A. Martasian and Wyeth P. Martasian.
She was a Title I Reading Specialist at Bradford and Westerly Schools for over 25 years. She was dedicated to her students and a lifelong advocate for advancing the education and well-being of others. Phyllis supported the Nick Vuono Charity Fund of Westerly, RI.
