Robert K. Gaultney, 90, of Elm Street, Stonington, CT, passed away on Feb, 3, 2014, at the Pendleton Health and Rehabilitation Center in Mystic.
He was the husband of Gabriella (Piver) Gaultney. Born in Sacramento, CA, he was the son of the late Hannah (Cox) Gaultney and Daniel H. Gaultney. He is survived by his stepdaughter, Jean M. Domnarski and her husband, Edward, of Essex CT; their children, Jason Domnarski and his wife, Rebecca, of Paris, France and Kate Durie and her husband, Brett, and their daughter, Hallie Ann of Deep River. Bob was very proud of his children and grandchildren and their accomplishments.

After his military service, he worked as a contract administrator for the U.S. Navy until 1978 when he retired from Civil Service and went to work for the Consulting Firm Tracor in Groton, CT, until his retirement in 1989.
Bob enjoyed his many years of bowling and the friendship of his team and league members. He was an avid reader, loved trivia quizzes and his daily crossword puzzles.
His family wishes to thank his caregivers at Pendleton as well as his Hospice team for the care and kindness shown to Bob during his lengthy illness.
At Bob's request, there will be no calling hours and all services are private.
