Robert Jacques Obituary
Bob was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, cherished by all who knew him. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Kathleen M. Jacques (James) and his son Randall Jacques. Bob is survived by his children: Robert Jacques Jr. of Westerly, Regina Grace Jacques of Westerly, Allison Hernandez (Jacques) of Woonsocket, and Justin Jacques of Providence. He also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his immediate family, Bob is survived by his siblings: Charles Jacques of Wakefield, Ernest Jacques of Lake Park, Fla., and Martha Jacques of Waterford.
Bob dedicated many years of hard work and dedication to General Dynamics Electric Boat of Groton, Connecticut, where he made lasting contributions and formed lifelong friendships.
Bob was a member of the Westerly Rhode Island Masonic Lodge #20 for many years, and a long-time member of the Pilgrim's Baptist Church in Ashaway Rhode Island.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Bob's life at the calling hours to be held at SR Avery Funeral Home, 3A Bank St., Hope Valley, Rhode Island from 5-8pm Wednesday May 22, 2024.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, in honor of Bob's courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease.
May Bob rest in eternal peace, reunited with his beloved Kathleen and Randall, and may his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
