Dear Mrs. Mandes, Michelle and David.
We meet many years ago on a trip to Italy and Bob was my hero as he had a charger for a video camera that I forgot home and he would let me use it daily. From that moment in time your husband, father became a friend to me and as time went on Bob would talk to me like a son and give me words of encouragement and love..I truly loved Bob and will miss his kind loving way. We never forget our parents especially the ones like Bob. Take comfort in the love you all shared and know that we all will see our loved ones again when we are called to eat at the big table with God and all our families. My heart felt condolences... Dear MaryAnn, Bob, Michelle and Andrew,

Diane joins me in expressing our deepest and sincere condolences for your loss.
Bob was one of the best people I've ever met in my life. His presence here on Earth had a very important impact on our society. Strong- willed for everything being right and proper with no tolerance for anything inappropriate; a gentleman of very high principles. He was truly special and I will never forget him. I often talk about the good things he did for the Town of Westerly and his strong ideals in everything he did in life.
His love for his family set an example of how all of us should live and behave.
Bob was a "true and trusted friend" to me and I will never forget him.
Our prayers are with you all during this painful time.
May God bless Bob's soul and aid you all during your mourning of your husband and father.
