Wendy Logan Obituary

PETERSBURG, VA - Wendy Logan, 73, passed away peacefully on February 3rd, 2025 in Petersburg, VA. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Logan. Wendy was born in Westerly, RI, to the late Wilbert and Lena (Briggs) Sherman, and she was a life-long resident of southern RI.

Wendy grew up in Rockville with her three brothers, Wilbert Sherman Jr., David Sherman, Bradley Sherman and four sisters, Tracey Sherman, Dorothy Malo (Sherman), Lori Sherman and Shirley Caswell (Sherman).

Wendy was married for over 30 years to her husband Robert Logan, who passed away in 2005. Wendy is survived by her three children; her sons Kelly Logan (wife Rachel) of Ashaway, RI, and Daniel Logan of Petersburg, VA, and her daughter, Jamie Knode (husband Evan) of Colorado Springs, CO.

Wendy is also survived by her three brothers, Wilbert, Bradley and David, her sister Tracey, as well as her two granddaughters who meant the world to her, Keira Logan of Ashaway, RI, and Kamdyn Knode of Colorado Springs, CO., and many nieces and nephews.

Wendy spent her time doing the things she enjoyed most, watching hummingbirds, gardening and spending time with those that she loved. She was a fan of the Annual Kentucky Derby, loved to crochet and enjoyed doing puzzle books. Wendy will be lovingly remembered as someone who put family first, and was happy.
