Clyde was a true Optimist who always treated everyone as a friend. I had the good fortune of working with him at Eastmoor High School when I was an assistant principal. Mr. Trumbull introduced me to the Southside Optimist Club. Our prayers go out to the Trumbull family and close friends.

Mr. Trumbull was the Vice Principal at Eastmoor Junior High School where I attended. I got caught cutting class and he gave me three swats. I NEVER cut class again and graduated with honors. My condolences to his family. He was a great man. I later worked with his wife Sandy within the Columbus City Schools. So saddened to hear of his passing.

Mr. Trumbull was the Asst. Principal at Eastmoor when i was going there from 1979-1981. He always picked with the class of 1981. He was a joy to encounter. He always made me laugh and would get on me about hanging out in the hallway. He was that person in my life at school that i did not want to miss a day because i knew that i would not get to see him. Thank you God, for Mr. Trumbull to have been in my life and many others.
