Emily J. Adams, age 44, born in Ft. Knox, KY on January 14, 1973, passed away on July 11, 2017. Emily was preceded in death by son Joshua R. Adams, father Russell L. Adams and granddaughter Emma Adams. She is survived by daughters, Kayla Adams, Amber Ferry and Allie Adams; mother, Carol Adams; brothers, Rusty (Jamielle) Adams of Dublin, OH and Robert (Lisa) Adams of TN. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 21, 2017 from 3-6 p.m. with a funeral service at 6 p.m. at the NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH 43231. We, the families of The Compassionate Friends, send you our heartfelt condolences. The Compassionate Friends is an international grief support group for parents, grandparents and siblings who have suffered the heartbreaking loss of a child. Our only mission is to provide comfort, hope and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or daughter, brother or sister, or grandchild, and to help others better assist the grieving family. We meet monthly in Columbus from 7-9 PM on the second Tuesday of each month at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1479 Morse Road, Columbus, Ohio 43229. If and when you are ready to do so, please join us.
