Jason Lee Stallings, a cherished son, brother, partner, and stepfather, passed away at the age of 62 on Oct. 4, 2025, at Deaconess Midtown in Evansville, Indiana, following injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Born on Dec. 30, 1962, in Caldwell County, Kentucky.
Jason was blessed by his loving mother, Betty Burton Stallings, and his brother, Blake Stallings, and his wife, Kellie, of Pelham, Alabama, forging bonds of brotherhood that would last a lifetime. As a loving partner to Deanna Reed of Princeton, and a stepfather to Jordan Dunn and his wife Brie of Princeton, he formed a uniquely blended and gracious family unit.
Jason was preceded in death by his father, James "Jim" Stallings; and his infant brother.
Self-employed as the proud owner of True Colors, Jason was a man known for his diligent work ethic and dedication to his trade.
Jason's zest for life was seen most vividly in his passions. An ardent lover of motorcycles, he found solace in the freedom and exhilaration of the open road, a place where he felt most at peace with the world. His love for fishing was both a peaceful pastime and an opportunity to engage with the natural world he so admired.
In remembering Jason Lee Stallings, we celebrate a life well-lived, full of purpose, passion, and love. As we bid him farewell, we hold tightly to the memories he leaves behind, knowing that his legacy will continue to inspire and guide us for years to come. Jason's journey through life was as vibrant and colorful as a Kentucky sunset, and just as memorable. He will be dearly missed by all whose lives he touched.
Graveside services were held Sunday, Oct. 12, 2025, at Lance Nichols Cemetery in Caldwell County.
