My fondest childhood memories are of our summer visits to Valley City to the farm of our Aunt Liz and cousins "Sonny," "Butch," Gertie and Barb. As well as Mom and Dad sending some of us kids alone to the Lonsky farm during summer, we would go many, many times as a family to spend the day with Aunt Liz and our cousins. We ALWAYS had the best time and so much fun during these visits. Why do I especially remember all of the excellent food prepared by Aunt Liz that ALL of us feasted? I will always remember how Sonny always had a large smile on his face. Our family has lost a treasure and my deepest sympathy to Marilyn, Gertie and Clarence and all of their families. I wish I could be there to say farewell.
