Ray McClaflin Obituary

Ray McClaflin, age 84, of Valley City, ND, died Friday, November 17th at SMP Health-St. Raphael. At Ray's request, there will be no services held.
Raymond Larry McClaflin, the son of Glenn D. and Neva (Fairfield) McClaflin, was born February 9, 1939 in Wisconsin. In 1961, Ray began his lifelong career in the parts department at Pegg Garage. His whole working career revolved around the world of Chevrolet. Ray worked in Valley City except for 6 years where he worked in Madison, SD. Ray was a member of the Valley City Eagles Club and the Barnes County Wildlife Club.
Ray is survived by his wife of 44 years, Luetta; a step-daughter, Kim (Bill) McKay; grandchildren, Karrie (Trent) Cunningham, Florida, Kayla (Paul) Rohrer and James (Courteney) Staub, all Bismarck, ND, Brad (Megan) McKay, Page, ND, Laura (Dustin) Weber and Emily McKay (Devon Liljenquist), all Fargo, ND; 10 Great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joyce Miller, Vancouver, WA and Sue (Dave) Middaugh, Fargo, ND; three brothers, Gary (Sue) McClaflin, Rick (Betty) McClaflin and Randy (Terri) McClaflin, all Tower City, ND.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents, his brother-in-law Duane Miller and step-sons Kory and Kevin Staub.
