Harold, I remember you from the good old days at Safeway. Always enjoyed seeing you. Was very happy to see that your life turned out to have a great wife and wonderful family. Carolyn Wiese took me to meet your parents some time ago. I know they had a happy life together.
Just wanted you to to know how proud your parents were of the life you chose.
Enjoy your family and treasure the wonderful memories you have of your parents.
Sincerely, Marilyn( Smith) Dobberstein

Our greatest sympathies to all of the Family! We always said we couldn't imagine one without the other and now they will be together again. Rex and Chloe were a big part of our lives in Arcata and true examples of Christian Faith. They will be missed so much by so many.

Hi, my name is Patty McHaney, we lived across the street from Rex and Chloe in Fieldbrook. We always admired Rex's meticulous upkeep of his property. He even mowed the lawn on our side of the street a few times . I saw Chloe at curves and enjoyed talking to her there. Rex and Chloe were wonderful neighbors, they were my kids first trick-or-treat experience. Chloe seemed to be as pleased to have the little trick-or-treaters as we were to go there. I saw Rex and Chloe just as they finished selling the church on J and 13th St, We live on J St. in Arcata now, and participate in activities at their old church, now called The Sanctuary I am certain that Chloe must have been in that church basement helping out on many occasions. Family of Rex and Chloe, sorry for your loss.
