Edward Ferrari Obituary

Ed Ferrari passed away peacefully at Sequoia Springs Assisted Living in Fortuna, California on February 1, 2012. Ed was born in Ferndale, California on February 11, 1921. Ed retired from Fortuna Union High School in 1986. He is survived by his wife Verna, of 55 years; Daughter Julie DeSantis (Husband Larry), Son Thomas Ferrari (Wife Bunny), and two grandchildren. Ed also left many nieces and nephews. Ed was preceded in death by his father Rocco Ferrari, mother Claudia Ferrari, sisters; Ida Katri, Inez Tomasini and Emma DeCarli. The family would like to thank the Memory Unit at Sequoia Springs Assisted Living, Hospice of Humboldt County, Marc Widdoes of Goble's Mortuary and the many neighbors and friends who helped us through this difficult time. As requested by Ed, there will be no service. Memorial contributions can be made to your charity of choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Goble's Fortuna Mortuary, Fortuna, California. sorry for your loss, I enjoyed talking with Ed when I lived across the street and then in later years when we crossed paths. again sorry for your loss and God bless
