Jacob Bingham

Jacob Keith Bingham passed away in an automobile accident on November 18, 2021 at Big Spring, Texas. Jacob was born in Mesa Arizona on April 14, 1989, yet spent much of his life in Eureka CA. Jacob came into a large family, and was beloved by all. Throughout his life, his sweet nature always shone through. He was fun loving, kind, funny, and had a joy for life. Jacob's early years were spent at a small farm in Gilbert AZ. When he was 4 years old the family moved to Eureka CA, where his parents had grown up. Athletic in many sports, he played basketball, football and baseball at Eureka High School. Teammates said his personality was supportive, enthusiastic, positive and was a team player. Jacob was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. In his youth he was active in the Boy Scouts of America and in June, 2007, he earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He was employed for approximately 7 years at Halliburton in the Denver area where he worked up to a management position. Recently in July of 2021 , he started working as an operator for Hi-Crush/ Pronghorn, a supplier of sand for the oil industry. Jacob is survived by his three children, Brody Bingham, 12, Oaklie Bingham, 10 and Decker Bingham, 7, who he passionately loved. Jacob is also survived by Susan Bingham, mother, Calvin Bingham, father, his siblings, Jeff Bingham (Tina), Sarah Marsden (Chad), Alicia Loor (Marcelo), Nathan Bingham (Denisse), and Julianne Bingham Weaver. He is also survived by his former spouse, Clarin Bingham, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, and his best friend Allissa Williamson. Although Jacob's life was cut short, he made a positive impression on many people. He loved Eureka and called it his home. Services were held November 27, 2021 at the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Kearney, MO. Additional graveside services will be held June 17, 2022 at 11:00 am at Ocean View Cemetery, Eureka CA.
