Lawrence F. Paine was born May 12, 1919 in Oakland, CA, and died March 20, 2006, in Fortuna, CA.
He is survived by his wife, Evelynn, his daughters, Laurine of Everett, WA, and Loretta of San Jose, CA and son Kurt of Clearwater, FL. His grandchildren, Karen Doheman, Becky Helton, Sonja Lee, Bruce Davidson and nine great grandchildren also survive him.
He was a Veteran of World War II, a retired machinist, and an avid golfer.
By his wishes, a family memorial service will be private and donations may be made in his name to the American Diabetes Association, 1900 Powell Street, Suite 285, Emeryville, CA 94608, in lieu of flowers.
Arrangements are under the direction of Gobel’s Fortuna Mortuary, Fortuna, CA.
