Melody and Candy: So very sorry to read about your dad and my sincere condolences for your loss. He was such a good guy and he was a good neighbor to my aunt and uncle, Angie & Cutler McConaghy, when you guys lived on Cottage St. I enjoyed having him as a neighbor when he had the motorcycle shop and loved having him as a customer at least once a week for lunch at The Anchor. Lots of wonderful memories of a great guy with an awesome personality and smile. Really will miss him and was proud of calling him my friend. He left all of you with wonderful memories to hold on to and cherish. May he rest in peace. Miss you girls as well.

I fondly remember buying motorcycles, starting with my first, from Richard and fun times spent riding on Far West property with him and especially the fun we had on some of the annual Hyampom rides as well as the old Far West meetings above the Eagles Club. I miss seeing him around. My condolences to the family. RIP Richard.

I'm sad to hear that.Another local legend gone.
I remember buying my first new bike from him,a CanAm
250 TNT,that I also got to go riding out to Petrolia with
him & the gang, back in the mid '70's.
I met up with him again, when he was selling off some
of his bikes at the dealership, after he shut it down.
What teenage boy didn't spend some time (& money)
at Richard Miller's?
RIP Richard.

Richard, I always enjoyed my visits with you, and buying bikes and ATV's. Thanks for all the great deals. I have always considered you as a very good friend, and was deeply saddened to read that you had passed away. Now you can get on a big dirt bike a rip up Heaven. May you RIP. My most sincere condolences to your wonderful family and many friends. You will be missed.
