It has berm so many years since I seen him and Marty last. We were like family, but lost tough. We played music together, worshiped the Lord together. He always had a smile, encouraging word, and helpful. Sorry to read of his passing even years later.

Wow, sad to learn of Bills passing. I decided today I needed to find him some how and thank him for all he did for me during my teen years. My dad and mom were friends with Bill during yellow cab days. My father, Toby was killed in a car accident. Bill was driving the ambulance that went to get him. Ultimately he married Bee ( my moms sister) my mom never remarried while I was home. When I was 13 Bill started showing me how to work on cars, woodworking and more, about God and what a man should be like. Bill was more than an uncle to me, he was my crazy buddy who always did something to freak me out. We had great times while he raced, working on his car many many hours. He did indeed win a lot. A gifted mucisian incredible woodworker. I moved away and lost touch. We met a couple time Marty, I was in the AirForce at that time and then looked him up in willow creek after returning to Eureka. I just wanted him to know what a great example he was in my life and how much I appreciate what he did for me. I wish I could have told him so, but I'm sure where he is, he knows I love him like a daddy. Sorry for your loss Marty he was a special man.

I was so very sorry to read of Bill's passing. I first met Bill when he worked for Yellow Cab and bowled for the Yellow Cab team at Eureka Bowl (I was their scorekeeper). Later I would run into him when he worked for Brink's as well. He was great guy with a wonderful personality, sense of humor and smile. I have thought of him often through the years, wondering where he was and what happened to you both. I know Bill left you with a lot of wonderful memories to cherish, especially during this very difficult time. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Bill was a dear friend. R.I.P. Bill.
