Bill McFarland was always a gentleman when I dealt with him as a home loan lender in Eureka for Humboldt Federal Savings and Loan Assn.

Our deepest sympathy to Pat and family on Bill's passing. He is with the Lord and enjoys playing on the most heavenly golf course in creation. Bill sold us our home across the street when John moved to Eureka. We remember with fondness the fun our daughters, Debbie and Mary Jane and sons Greg and Richard had while playing with Karen, Katy, Sara, Patrick and Andrew. Bill's good humor, ready smile and sincere friendliness will be remembered with warmth. God be with all the family. John and Virginia Grande

Bill was a friend of many years and a long time golf partner. He was a man that I never heard say a bad word about anyone. A true gentleman that we will miss. May the Lord bless him and keep him.
