My Son was such a kind, peaceful, and loving man. I think of him everyday and although I'm not very religious or spiritual myself, I feel his presence daily. I miss him so.

Dad, Aunt Ani & Uncle A planted a yearly renewing plant at Dad's house today. This is what was said for you;
Zach was deeply spiritual and did not sacrifice his values to fit into societal norms. He lived his life free.
Reading from Rumi:
Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I'll meet you there.
When the soul lies down in that grass, the world is too full to talk about.
Ideas, language, even the phrase "each other" doesn't make any sense.
Reading from I Corinthians 15:
Listen, I will tell you a mystery! we will not all die, but we will all be changed . . . For this perishable body must put on imperishability, and this mortal body must put on immortality.
Song during the planting:
Into the Mystic by Van Morrison
I picked the song, it always makes me think of you. Ani picked the readings and I have to say, she couldn't have found better. I
I feel like I'm talking to you here, maybe you can see this some how... Dad calls the plant Zack's plant. :)

I love you always, I'll miss your smile and laugh, your silly ways of putting things together, your Zackisms lol, the way you played with my kids; you never missed one of their births, and you took care of me. I'll remember all of our late night talks, watching football, and your cookies.
I'll never forget you, anything about you. I love you forever. I pray your at peace, and happy.

My Son was one of the kindest, gentlest, and loving people I've known. His memory will live at least as long as I live. He is loved and missed by all who knew him.
