Janet Couture Obituary
The Rev. Peter O'Leary, pastor of the church, was the celebrant.
Crucifer Laurence Reilly was altar server and led the Prayer of the Faithful.
Organist and vocalist Rosemary Badeau was accompanied by vocalists Romeo Bilodeau and Ronald Routhier in the hymns "On Eagle's Wings," "How Great Thou Art," "Prayer of St. Francis" and "Amazing Grace." Soloist Ronald Routhier sang "The Old Rugged Cross." Bagpiper Donald Murray played "Amazing Grace."
Readings from the Old and New Testament were read by family friend Laura Galli.
Pallbearers were Timothy Murphy, Jacob Couture, Charles Moyer and Jake Trepanier, all grandsons.
Offertory gifts were presented at the altar by April Murphy and Kelsey Trepanier, granddaughters, and Brayden and Graysen Murphy, great-grandsons.
Burial will be at a later date.
Following the Mass, family and friends gathered at the Canadian Club for a time of fellowship and luncheon.
Arrangements were in the care of the Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home, 58 Summer St., Barre.

As one of the "30 neighborhood children" my prayers go out to Mr. Couture, Cathy, Ronny, Tommy and Elizabeth. Their home and property made growing-up full of pleasant memories.
