Linda O'Connell Obituary

BARRE - Linda Lee O'Connell, 65, formerly of Burlington, died Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014, at Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin, from long-term health issues.

She was born in Rutland Aug. 14, 1948, received her early education in Forest Dale and graduated in 1967 from Otter Valley Union High School.

Ms. O'Connell enjoyed cats and socializing.

Survivors include two children, Richard "Rick" Baird of Salisbury and Diana Shewell of Sebastian, Fla.; several brothers and sisters; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The private committal service will take place at a later date.

Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Linda O'Connell Memorial Fund, in care of Miller & Ketcham, 26 Franklin St., Brandon, VT 05733.
