We first met Wayne about 1982 .... Bunnie Rowell, our dear friend, wanted us to know him. She was so proud of him and we stopped by his home . In 1995, we moved from CA to NH and would see him at family gatherings . We just learned of his passing 7/28/2015. Condolences to all the family. We appreciate his life and his contributions to Vermont and all of his loved ones .

Uncle Wayne, the man with the smile and the dry sense of humor. And the twinkle in his eye. He helped me understand a lot of things when I was growing up.

Prayers for the family of Wayne Rowell. He was a great man. One to truly look up to. He was an asset to his community and a credit to the game warden service. He has now gone on to his well deserved rest. His tools of labor fallen silent. Well done good and faithful servant. Well done.

My wife has lost her father and I have lost a man who was like a father to me. Wayne Rowell is already missed from our family. My heart goes out to my mother-in-law Genevieve and my brothers and sister in-law.

We were so sorry to hear that Wayne had passed.
He & Genevieve have been good friends to my parents for many years. My Dad remembers fondly the many camping trips, snowmobiling, and trekking through the wilds of Somerset with Wayne. He also taught Chip a lot about those Somerset woods, and fishing and hunting up there.
With much respect, and sincere sympathy to the family,
Chip and Brenda
