Zoey Sturge Obituary
The Rev. Leopold Bilodeau, pastor of St. Monica Catholic Church in Barre, led the service and sang the hymn, "Be Not Afraid," accompanied by Zoey's great-grandmother, Mary Edson Merchant.
A time of remembrance and refreshment followed later that afternoon at the Barre Elks Club on Jefferson Street.
The Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy St., Barre, was in charge of the arrangements.

Your beautiful daughter was the light in many eyes. So many people loved her and we all shed tears in her passing. I never met Zoey, but each time I heard her name spoken there was always a smile that followed. She will never be forgotten. You will all be in our prayers.
